1、美展目的

Objective

百家湖国际文化投资集团倾力打造南京国际美术展，发掘、培养国际上认可的中外艺术家，推进艺术家成长计划，为中国艺术界注入新的生机和活力，提高中国文化艺术对外的开放度与融入度，全面提升中国艺术家和作品在国际艺术舞台的影响力和地位，以及中国艺术在世界艺术发展历史中的作用。

BaijiaLake International Cultural Investment Group strives to build the NanjingInternational Art Festival in order to explore and nurture internationallyrecognized Chinese and foreign artists, promote the growth plans of artists,inject a new vigor and vitality into the Chinese art world, raise the opennessand degree of integration with the outside world of Chinese culture and art,comprehensively raise the status and influence of Chinese artists and theirwork on the global stage, and locate the role of Chinese art in the historicaldevelopment of the art world.

2014年首届南京国际美术展吸引全球20多个国家和地区近5000位艺术家积极响应，展览观众达20多万人次。第二届南京国际美术展吸引了全球43个国家和地区近8000位艺术家积极响应，展览观众达到21万人次。两届美展取得了巨大的社会效应和学术影响，第三届南京国际美术展在总结经验的基础上，尊重行业规则，专注于专业性、学术性、国际化的提升，为艺术家长期成长与发展倾力筹划具备国际高度和地位的专业展览，为中国文化艺术产业发展与繁荣做出有益尝试与探索。

In 2014 the1st Annual Nanjing International Art Festival attracted a positive responsefrom around 5,000 artists, including both local artists and those from overtwenty countries. The 2nd Festival attracted more than 8,000 artists, includingboth local artists and those from over 40 countries. More than 210,000 peoplevisited. Both exhibitions had a major social impact and academic influence. The3rd Festival will draw on lessons learned while respecting industrystandards, focusing on professionalism, academic value, and international promotion,while emphasizing the long-term growth of artists and working to prepare ahigh-level and professional exhibition and undertaking a meaningful explorationof the development of China's art and culture industries.

第三届南京国际美术展采用全球公开征集与评审委员会提名推荐相结合，统一由评审委员会评审择优入围的方式，力求体现艺术的自由与平等精神，为中外艺术家们提供一个公平、公正的同台竞技展示才华的舞台。体现当下艺术家们对社会、对现实的真切感受，对多元文化的深入思考和融会贯通，鼓励试验与探索的创新精神和人文关怀。

The Festivalwill use global and open selection methods to choose the best and strive toembody the spirit of artistic freedom and equality and provide a fair and justshared platform for Chinese and foreign artists to compete and display theirtalent. It will reflect the true feelings of artists towards society andreality,provide a deep reflection on and trenchant analysis of cultural diversity,encourage experimentation and exploration of the spirit of creativity andhumane compassion.

二、展览模式

Exhibition Format

1、展览内容

ExhibitionContent

第三届南京国际美术展计划展出800件左右作品，涵盖当今艺术各种门类和表现媒介。

The third Nanjing International Art Festival will have around 800works, covering various fields of contemporary art and performance media.

参展艺术家：400人左右

Participating Artists: ~400

作品总量：800件左右

Total Number of Works: ~800

比例构成：绘画类（国画水墨、油画、版画、水彩、综合材料绘画）占50％；综合类（雕塑、装置、影像（video）、照片（photographywork））占50％。

Content Ratios: Paintings (Chinese ink paintings, oil paintings,prints, watercolors, other kinds of paintings) account for 50%; Miscellaneous(sculptures, installations, videos, photographs) account for 50%.

 2、征集方式

CollectionPattern:

 为建立具有社会广泛参与度的公开公正的平台，发掘潜力艺术家，避免艺术界近亲繁殖的弊病，南京国际美术展组委会将在海内外媒体广泛发布征集公告，征集中外优秀艺术家作品。艺术家可统一到本次国际美展官方网站上在线报名提交资料。

Establishingthis fair platform with active participation is intended to discoverpotentially talented artists and to avoid excessive overlap within the artcommunity. The worldwide released notice aims to encourage submissions fromexcellent artists from all over the world.Artists can submit their informationtogether to the online application form of the festival's official website.

参评作者、作品要求

Requirementsfor Participating Artists and Works

（1）年满二十周岁及以上的中外艺术家。

Artists must be aged 20 or above.

（2）参评作品是参评者近期原创作品，享有自主知识产权，未侵犯他人任何专利、著作权、商标权及其他知识产权。参展作品需提前寄到组委会并在展览后方可退件，请参评者选择拥有自主所有权的作品，避免产生借展纠纷和档期冲突。如发生类似纠纷，组委会有权取消其参展及获奖资格。

The participating works shall be the original works of theparticipating artists, and the use of such works shall not violate any patent,copyright, trademark and other intellectual property right. Considering all theartworks (shortlisted) will be delivered to the Organizing Committee andreturned after the exhibition, and the possibility of winning prizes and beingcollected, all artists should own their intellectual property rights to avoidpossible conflicts; otherwise, the Organizing Committee is authorized to cancelany certification or prize.

（3）题材不限，鼓励艺术创作的自由。但涉及政治敏感话题，过度血腥暴力及引人不适的作品，组委会将谨慎审核，并有权利拒绝。

Subject matter is unlimited, creativity freedom is encouraged. Anywork related to sensitive political topics or violence will be carefullyverified and is likely to be rejected.

（4）征集作品门类包含两大类：绘画类（含中国画、油画、版画、水彩、综合材料绘画等）与综合类（雕塑、装置、影像、图片等）。

Two major types will be accepted: paintings (including traditionalChinese painting, oil painting, prints, water color, mixed media paintingsetc.) and others (sculpture, installation, video, photograph etc.)

（5）尺寸要求：

Dimensions requirements

绘画类：作品尺寸不超过250cm×250cm

Paintings:within 250cm×250cm.

综合类：雕塑、装置类作品尺寸不宜过大，材质坚固不易损坏，展陈技术便于实现，特殊尺寸可与组委会联系协调；影像类作品以常规投影仪能够播放的文件格式为宜，图片类作品尺寸不超过250cm×250cm。

Others:sculptures and installations should be kept within reasonable sizes, strongmaterials and simple operational techniques - please contact the OrganizingCommittee about special sizes; videos using regular projectors preferred;photographs within 250cm×250cm.

报名方式

报名者到南京国际美术展官方网站（www.njiaf.com）在线报名通道注册，提交个人信息和作品信息，填写务必完整。上传个人肖像照片、参选作品图片，要求分辨率300DPI的JPEG格式，文件大小为5MB左右为宜。

chooseonline “Enrollment” on the official website of the art festival (www.njiaf.com), fill in personalinformation and artwork details. Candidate personal photos and artwork photosrequire a minimum of 300dpi in JPEG / around 5mb.

报名期限：2016年6月1日-7月31日

EnrollmentDeadline: June1st- July 31th 2016

注意事项：

Notice:

（1）请报名者一次性准备好相关资料，请勿重复注册投稿。Allinformation should be submitted at one time, please do not submit multipleapplications.

（2）作品初评一律以电子资料形式进行。请勿直接邮寄作品至组委会,组委会对此类作品不承担保管和退件责任，避免造成遗失。

Initial evaluation work will be carried out via examination of electronicinformation. To avoid any losses please do not send works by mail to the OrganizingCommittee; the Organizing Committee does not assume responsibility for thecustody and return of such items.

报名资料整理：2016年8月1日-8月10日

Registration Data Compilation: August 1-10th 2016

初评时间：2016年8月11日-8月15日

Preliminary Evaluation Period: August 11-15th 2016.

评选原则：综合考虑作品的原创性、学术性、艺术性，公正、公平、择优选出入围参展作品。

Selection Principles: Select the finalists based on acomprehensive consideration of the originality, academic and artistic value ofworks that is carried out in a just and fair manner.

入围通知：8月16日-8月20日

FinalistNotification: August 16th-20th

通知方式：组委会工作人员邮寄入围通知/参展证书、参展协议、作品标签等寄件时需要的辅助材料给入围艺术家，并同时电话提醒对方接收。

Notification Method: The committee staff members will send theartist finalist notice, participation credentials, participation agreement, artworklabels and other auxiliary materials via mail, while at the same time notifyingthe artists by phone.

原件寄送与退回

Delivery andReturn of Original Works 

艺术家接到入围通知后，将入围作品原件寄送至组委会，寄件时请粘贴作品标签，标注作者姓名、作品名称、联系方式等信息，便于接收和分类。

Afterartists are selected as finalists, they should send originals of their work tothe Organizing Committee by mail. Every artwork shall be tagged with artistname, artwork name, and contact information for recognition.

原件寄送日期：2016年8月21日—9月20日

Deliverytime limit: August 21th ----September 20th2016

收件地址：中国江苏省南京市江宁区将军南路646号南京凤凰山艺术园七号楼一楼（211151）。

Designated address:No.7 Building first floor, Nanjing Phoenix Mountain Art Park, South Jiangjun RoadNo. 646, Jiangning District, Nanjing, Jiangsu, China 211151.

运费承担：所有入围作品寄件运费和保险费用由作者自行承担。退件运费由组委会承担，但不承担打箱费用。

Costs andexpenses: Artists shall be responsible for the transportation and insuranceof the participating artworks while the Organizing Committee will pay for theexpenses of returning the works. All crates need to be prepared by artists, andthe committee is only responsible for the transportation excluding the crates.

装裱要求：所有入围作品由作者自行装裱，装裱费自理，组委会不再另行装裱。Frame requirements:All artworks shall be framed before delivery and no framing fee reimbursementsshall be borne by the committee.

包装要求：作者寄件时自行包装打箱，费用自理，要求坚固便于搬运。组委会将对作品与包装箱对应编号，原箱来原箱回。

Packagingrequirements: all artworks should come with strong, transportation-friendlycrates; no crate fee reimbursements. The committee will return the artworkswith the original crates.

损坏处理：如作品在送达组委会收件点之前的运输过程中受损，组委会将及时通知作者，但不承担任何责任。如艺术家坚持作品参展，作品破损修复费用由艺术家承担。退件时，组委会将完整作品进行规范包装后，交付运输公司后在运输过程中造成破损，由运输公司承担相应责任，组委会不承担任何责任。

Damages:in the case that the artworks are damaged before arrival, the committee willinform the artist immediately without taking on responsibility. If artistsstill intend on participating, he/she shall be responsible for all repair andrelated expenses. When returning artworks, the committee will ensure the safetyof the package. In the case of any damages during transportation, theresponsibility shall belong to the transportation company.

退件安排：展览结束后3个月内完成退件，或按照相关合作协议期限退件。

ReturningArrangements: Within three months after the move-out of theexhibition.

奖项设置

Award System

（1）  本次美展设立十名优秀作品奖，颁发获奖证书，作为荣誉鼓励。

TheExhibition will set up an award to be given to ten outstanding works;certificates will be awarded to honor and encourage the winners.

（2）本次美展不设奖金，组委会不再对获奖作品有硬性收藏要求。

The Exhibition will not award any monetary prizes, the OrganizingCommittee no longer has rigid requirements for the collection of prize winningworks.

宣传出版

Publicationand Exhibition

（1）全部参展作品将由组委会颁发参展证书，并录入由组委会出版的“第三届南京国际美术展参展作品集”画册，组委会将免费赠送参展艺术家每人一本画册以作留念。艺术家如有额外需要，可按照定价购买。

All selected works will be issued a Participating Certificate bythe Organizing Committee, and included into the Participating Works Album ofthe Nanjing International Art Festival published by the Organizing Committee.Each presented artist will get a copy as souvenir. More copies can be purchasedat a fixed price.

（1）  全部获奖作品将由组委会颁发获奖证书。

All prize-winning works will receive a certificate from theOrganizing Committee.

（3）组委会根据需要对参展及获奖作品进行媒体报道宣传，费用由组委会承担。

The Organizing Committee will be responsible for necessaryexpenses related to media promotion and publicity for theprize-winning works.

权责说明

Statement ofRights and Responsibilities

（1）组委会有权利公开免费使用作者在线报名的个人艺术信息，并对电话、地址、家庭信息等隐私信息严格保密。TheOrganizing Committee reserves the following rights: free access to the onlineenrollment information filled out by artists while keeping phone numbers,addresses and family information confidential.

（2）主办方对参展作品有展览、研究、摄影、录像、出版及宣传权。Thesponsors reserve the right of exhibition, research, photographing,video-recording, copying, publishing and promotion of these works.

（3）凡报名参选本届南京国际美术展的作者，均被视为已同意本文件及报名通道上的要求。南京国际美术展组委会对本文件条款内容有最终解释权，并对所有参展及获奖作品有最终裁定权。

Application for this session of the Nanjing International ArtFestival shall be deemed to be consent to all contents in this notice and theregistration forms. The Organizing Committee of the Nanjing International ArtFestival reserves the right of the final interpretation of all the above terms,and final discretion on all the award-winning works.
